Ambassador Program

About the Ambassador Program

The Ambassador Program is a year-long leadership development program designed to introduce and connect new students to the ASUW, to the university, and to each other. Whether your goal is to eventually host Rainy Dawg Radio, become a Student Senator, or get involved in the countless other opportunities that the ASUW has to offer, we’re here to help you take your first step.

2019-2020 Ambassadors
2019-2020 Ambassadors

Every year, approximately 10-15 Ambassadors are selected through an application process at the beginning of fall quarter. Ambassadors will engage in interactive workshops, bonding activities, and a culminating leadership project, where they will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on campus. Example meeting topics include goal-setting, leadership & identity, and professional development. Ambassadors will also be matched with a current ASUW student employee, who will provide one-on-one mentorship throughout their Ambassador experience.

*Programming will be offered virtually for fall-quarter with optional opportunities for socially-distanced in-person meet-ups.
