Student Regent Applications

From the Office of the ASUW President: On behalf of all UW student governments (ASUW Seattle, ASUW Bothell, ASUW Tacoma, and GPSS), I am excited to announce that the University of Washington Student Regent application is now open for the 2025–2026 academic year! This position is open to all UW students—undergraduates, graduate students, and professional students—across all three campuses. Three to five applicants’ names will be forwarded to the Governor’s Office for final consideration, and the Student Regent ultimately selected will receive a tuition waiver for the 2025–2026 academic year. 

As ASUW Seattle President, I want to ensure our Seattle students are well represented. If you have any questions about the application process, please feel free to reach out to me at asuwpres@uw.edu. Should there be sufficient interest, GPSS President Richard Schure will host a Q&A session with our current Student Regent, Keondra Rustan.

Application Deadline 

  • Due Date: Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 11:59 PM 
  • Late applications will not be accepted. 
  • If selected for an interview, you must be available on April 28, 29, or 30. 

INTERNSHIPS:

Interns are volunteers who work regularly with their respective employee or entity for 3-5 hours a week.

COMMITTEES:

Committee members are volunteers who are appointed by an employee to sit on a committee that has a specific purpose.
