Elections Administration Committee Intern Application

The Elections Administration Committee (EAC) Interns work alongside the Chair to organize and facilitate ASUW Elections. Interns work with a subcommittee of 5-10 volunteers on a variety of projects at the discretion of the Chair. Applicants must have a positive attitude, willingness to learn new skills, and eagerness to revolutionize the elections process.

The Programming Intern works to plan EAC events such as candidate forums, the Elections Kick-off Fair, and the Presidential Debate.

The Marketing Intern will work to promote the EAC, ASUW Elections, and voting to UW students through posters, online advertisements, etc.

The Volunteer & Outreach Intern will help market to potential candidates, voters, and committee members to engage them in the ASUW Elections process.

The Election Day Operations Intern will assist in coordinating the three days of voting and organizing the volunteers to operate EAC voting stations.

EAC Interns gain experience specific to the ASUW Elections process. Additionally, Interns have room to improve their leadership skillset through facilitation, public speaking, across-campus collaboration, interactions with the student body at large, and much more. The Interns have a unique opportunity to assist with the early stages of the ASUW Elections process and play an instrumental role in the success of the committee.

This application closes on October 19th at 11:45pm
